The protagonist, Lieutenant Eve Dallas, is a Homicide detective in New York. Originally appearing in the anthology "Suite 606" with stories by three other authors, "Ritual" has been collected a few times with other stories in this series. The author is the extremely prolific romance writer Nora Roberts. She writes this series, and this series only, under the pen name J. D. Robb. This is my fourth release of this series. The earlier three versions were HTML only, and were released for me by other people, to whom I am very grateful. This version differs from the earlier releases in that: (1) HTML, EPUB, MOBI, and PDF files are included, (2) I'm releasing each book or story separately, and (3) I'm releasing them myself. There will be releases of new books and stories that came out after the earlier versions were compiled, as well.
