Hi Welcome to Part 4. CDG+MP3 Karoke. A working commercial collection that will take you from A to Z in over 50,000 songs. Bit torrent is about giving back what you take out. Out of 40 to 50 down-loaders on each torrent only 11 or 12 stay to seed. To counter this I am doubling the size of each torrent to 1000 songs or 6GB download size. This forces the Hit and Run people to remain seeders for longer as it will now take twice as long to download each torrent.

Some seed every torrent in this series and that is just wonderful, but please do NOT SEED more than one in this series at any one time unless you have the UPLOAD bandwidth to spare. For the non technical your upload bandwidth is NOT what sells internet connections and most Internet service providers do not tell you that as they save money by keeping your UPLOAD speeds down to a tiny fraction of the advertised download speed.

Say your download speed is 30 megabits per second (mbps) you will find your UPLOAD speed is a fraction of that, typically less than 10%. In many cases 30 down is only 1.7 upload speeds. In my case I can download at 100 megabits per second, but only upload at 8 megabits per second. In practise, I can only seed at 7.5 mbps so I can still communicate with the swarm as I seed.

I do not seed any other torrents while I download new ones or I could not even manage that. I use super seeding, or initial seeding for Micro Torrent users and though I hate the minimised things you can do and see with Micro Torrent Vs Vuze I am going to use Micro Torrent just this once to seed this mega sized 1000 song upload using Initial seed and see how that works.

To measure your actual speed, reboot your PC or laptop and then open your web browser at http://speedtest.net and follow the on screen instructions. Set the readout to megabits per second, as Megabytes are confusing and a much smaller value.

So 6GB sized downloads from now on, so we get larger swarms and a higher seed to peer ratio for all members of the swarm must download to fellow peers, that is how bit torrent works. LEECHERS YOU CAN NOT TURN OFF UPLOADING TO THE SWARM... It is automatic and you have AT LEAST two Peers downloading from you as you download from the swarm. Often many more. That is how bit torrent works.

I CAN NOT DO THIS without your help.

1. SEED to the Swarm as you download, but no more than 70% of your maximum upload speed or you will hurt your own download speeds. DO NOT restrict your upload speed less than 70%. That will KILL your download speeds dead.

2. Try to keep your download speed ABOVE 1 megabit per second or 0.8 Kilo Byte per second.

3. Please read and try to understand the enclosed text files or seek online or personal help.
