DescriptionRight Track 1 - Locomotive Kit Building - Part 1 Since these DVDs are not available anymore, PLEASE SEED ;-) Tony Wright is an accomplished author and model maker. He was also the assistant editor of British Railway Modelling and, to date, has built over 400 locos, mostly from kits. In this, the first of the Right Track series, he starts to build an A2 Pacific from DJH and shows the different methods used on a 4F from Alan Gibson and a 61XX Prairie tank from South Eastern Finecast. In two programmes, recorded in his own workshop, he shows how he takes the kits from their basic components to completed running models in 4mm scale, "OO" gauge. In Part 1, Tony begins with the white metal and brass components from these three popular manufacturers and shows how to build a rolling chassis with a basic body. Many of the techniques shown here can be applied to other scales with great success. However, I have encoded these from 8GB to a reasonable uploading size, so there will be the odd loss of definition here and there. I used the H265 format, so if you have difficulty playing this file I suggest you download a media player like VLC. Sharing WidgetScreenshots |
