Summary:

Sam Mendes' second attempt at tackling suburban

marital problems is a grim and depressing affair

that's often painful to watch, like knowing a car

is about to crash but watching it happen

in slow motion anyway.



Story:

After getting married, Frank and April Wheeler

(Leonardo Dicaprio, Kate Winslet) moved out

to the suburbs of Revolutionary Road with all

sorts of hopes and dreams for the future, but

years later, none of them have worked out as

planned. One day, they impulsively decide to

move their entire family to Paris, but that plan

is shattered when Frank gets a promotion at his

job and April gets pregnant.
