Return Of The Evil Dead (1973) - Widescreen, Uncut, Original Spanish Version

RETURN OF THE EVIL DEAD (1973) (‘El ataque de los muertos sin ojos’) is the second installment of Amando de Ossorio’s super-atmospheric ‘evil dead’ series.

500 years after they were blinded and executed for committing human sacrifices, a band of ruthless Templar knights return from the grave to terrorize a rural Portuguese village during it's centennial celebration. Hunted by sound, the townspeople must find a way to escape from these nightmarish and relentless creatures.

I could not find a decent copy of this film anywhere in torrent land, which seemed sad given the historical standing of this creepy and influential series, so here it is, presented in it’s ORIGINAL, UNCUT, WIDE-SCREEN, SPANISH LANGUAGE VERSION with soft ENGLISH SUB-TITLES.

Also included is a SAMPLE and TWO TRAILERS.

I’ve already posted the first part, TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD, as a separate torrent - also complete and uncut in it’s original Spanish language version.


Censor history (culled from the IMDB)

The original US laserdisc by Elite and DVD by Anchor Bay claimed to be uncut, but was actually the re-edited, and censored, shorter English language version.

The 1994 UK video by Redemption films was the same re-edited, shorter, English language version, but was cut a further 6 sec by the BBFC.

This torrent contains the UNCENSORED, ORIGINAL SPANISH LANGUAGE VERSION of the film.
