Package Tools for Mac OS X

This is an internal Apple program used by their testers and includes the following:

PurpleRestore - A tool for restoring any firmware, up or down, to iDevices.
PurpleSNIFF
PurpleFAT
DCSD
PurpleBuildSanitizer
A crash dumper, which automatically launches when an iDevice is connected
and
An additional panel for Xcode Organizer.

The command line version of PurpleRestore is installed as well to /usr/local/bin. The other applications aren't installed in /Applications on your Mac, but in /AppleInternal/Applications.

Also, this, like many other things on this site, is illegal without Apples permission ;P
