Guys. C'mon. This isn't frickin' rocket science. Take some deep breaths. Slow. the. eff. down. for. just. a. minute.
READ phetoy101's post SLOWLY. Copy & paste it it that will help. It's stupid simple! There is only one directory/folder in the archive! It's named, amazingly, "Replay", the name of the developer. Open it! (Double-click)\n
There's ONE (1) sub-directory. Named, again amazingly, "Your Software". Wow! Open it!\n
There are TWO icons within that directory: RCAT (The executable to install the program you apparently want) & a directory named, Ah-HA!!!!, "Keygen"!! Holy Schnikes!!! This is where it gets really tough:\n
1) Double-click "RCAT" and install the program. There are no tricks or 3rd party crapware being snuck in. Follow the steps till the program's installed.\n
2) Close the program. Yes, that's right. Close "Media Capture". Return to the directory to which you downloaded this torrent file. \n
3) Open the "Keygen" sub-directory. Run "kg". This is the only stumbling block I encountered. When I tried to run "kg", my anti-virus (AVG) pitched 7 different kinds of bitch. I had to override it and allow the key generator to run.\n
4) Once you've calmed down your AV, IF you had to, run "kg" again.\n
5) When the funky music starts playing, you know you're nearly home. There is a button labelled "Patch". Click on it. A dialogue box will open, probably in "My Documents"/"Documents", WTF-ever, navigate to C:Program Files [(x86) if applicable]Applian Technologies. Open that folder, within it you will see the name of the program, open THAT folder. \n
I'm pretty sure that it is nothing but a LOT of directories and the "aliccl.dll" file he mentions. I might be wrong because as soon as I got past all the folders I immediately saw that file, but I digress.\n
Double-click that file. Or Select it and click "Open" I don't really care which.\n
6) Now, if you look, the Keygen program has magically filled the code field for you. Select that code, whatever it is, & copy it.\n
7) Open "Media Capture". When the program opens, close the prompt asking whether you want to start recording. Next, click "Help". Click "Registration Code". Paste the code in the field. Hit "Enter", click the button, whatever your preference.\n
You should get a message that the program is ready to go.\n
If that is too complicated a procedure for you, then I strongly suggest you do not attempt to dl software. Stick with music and video until you get a little more knowledge under your belt about the more "advanced" areas of P2P. Just a suggestion. I'm sure 99% of you are telling me where I can put my suggestions. But, that's OK, too. I read the aforementioned post before I tried to install this pgm. I had no troubles and the pgm works just dandy for me.\n

ok, here's my take. opened the file with winzip and installed. listed in the zip file is 2 dll's. when i extracted the 2 files to my desktop, it created a folder called crack. at this point it looks like i need to reboot, but c-n-p the dll's to the program folder doesnt seem to help...yet.

it would seem over writing the dll's wasnt the answer, not the program doesnt load. now i have some skills and exp. but this program is a pain.

First you run the RCATSetup and install the programs. After installation go to the keygen forlder and run the kg. A new window will appear. Click the patch button. Another window will appear. Go to the folder where you saved the program. the default is "C:/Program files/Applian Technologies/Replay Media Catcher". Look for a "aliccl.dll" file and double click it. Open the Replay Media Catcher 4. Go to the Help menu and click the "Registration Code". Then just copy the code in the keygen app. and paste it in the registration code and press enter code. You can now use it.
