Pridemore Juvenile Facility is the setting for this over-the-top women's prison flick, where young offenders must contend with the predatory and sadistic tactics of both the prisoners and their keepers.

A young innocent is duped and dumped by her boyfriend in the middle of a crime scene and gets it in the neck by being sent to a sadistic reform school from beyond hell. The trick is to stay sane, alive and to somehow get out of the hell hole in one piece.

Blythe Danner as the warden Sutter is a cold dyke with a taste for spouting post dinner sermons over the schools speaker system. Pat Ast as the matron Edna towers over the proceedings with one of the great performances of modern cinema.

Leading the assortment of psycho and dyke inmates is queen dyke Charlie played by Wendy O'Williams, who at age 37 shows a young heart and a hard body.

A great camp classic -- fabulous, demented and ridiculous beyond belief.
