Rare Hits of The 80's Vol 64

This is most likely the last installment of Rare Hits Of The 80s series. This project was about sharing very interesting, somewhat forgotten, unknown or totally obscure bands from the 80s. The sources were mainly from vinyl records, the majority of which were never released on CD. The focus of these compilations was mainly on releases between 1979 to 1985 when the music was innovative, unique, danceable and quirky but with thoughtful, social-political lyrics. A time when analogue synthesizers were king. Rare Hits Of The 80s was not about piracy or downloading free music, rather it was all about sharing obscurity. As a matter of fact even if you wanted to pay to get them, some of these records were nowhere to be found. Adding these songs to your favourite mainstream new wave/post punk/punk, power pop, techno pop and dark wave tunes, makes a relatively complete history of the music scene throughout those fantastic years. I am still seeding the whole series for those interested. What is a bit surprising and in the meantime encouraging, is the number of downloads I constantly get.
