Quake is a first-person shooter video game that was developed by id Software and published GT Interactive Software for the original port on the PC. The game was released on June 22, 1996 for DOS.
The player takes the role of Ranger, who is sent into a portal in order to stop an enemy code-named "Quake". Previously, the government had been experimenting with teleportation technology, and upon development of a working prototype called a "Slipgate", this enemy has compromised the human connection with their own teleportation system, using it to insert death squads into the 'human' dimension, supposedly in order to test the martial capabilities of humanity.

Quake "Deluxe Edition" based on official english Quake version, and currently includes:

- Latest stable Darkplaces Engine (32/64 bit depended on your OS).
- 2 Official mission packs (Scourge of Armagon, Dissolution of Eternity)
- HD textures (Quake HD Pack v1.45b)
- Original In-Game soundtrack (Ogg format)
- 2 demos: Quake done Quickest and Quake done 100% quickest - fastest full game walkthrough at nightmare skill level.

Note: HD textures, soundtrack and demos are optional. There is no need to download it if you don't need this.
