Description

This long out of print album from 1987 contains some amazing music. By turns muscular and mellow, Frisells' playing here might arguably be some of his best ever.


It's also great to hear Gibbs and Jackson in this context.


Apparantly, this session was originally meant to be a Julius Hemphill date and at the last minute the leader was unable to attend. They decided to record anyway and left us this great album.
