"High Quality Performance" The Zabriskie Point Outtakes are the best versions I've heard yet. They are apparently taken from the Omyyad LP, but have been cleaned up a great deal in a studio somewhere. The distortion is still evident, but all the background hiss is gone. The other tracks, taken from the TLAMLIL soundtrack and the omnipresent BBC sessions, are all of good quality. The two Live tracks (Labyrinth and Floyd's Blues) are both what all audience tapes should sound like. Overall, this is a great sounding CD. I'd give it a 8.5 out of 10. This CD is a Gold CD. I'm glad to own it. If you can buy it cheaply and don't already own the tracks that it contains, I'd heartily recommend buying it! -SCOTT Sharing Widget |
