Description
Parted Magic 2016_01_06
www.partedmagic.com Parted Magic is a Linux distribution primarily aimed at disk partitioning and duplication, file system manipulation, and data recovery and destruction. To that end it includes several open source tools such as parted, gparted, partclone, clonezilla, ddrescue, and secure delete, among others. While it is true that Parted Magic offers more functionality, it is all via the work of others and without support, while the commercial offerings come with support. In order to insure access to this excellent product for low-income individuals and non-profits, I am dedicating myself to purchasing this software and insuring it is available to these users. In this spirit, please, if you can afford this software, then purchase it. Related Torrents

Size is exactly the same, but content and md5 checksums are different.
Actually, I have no idea why, if as you say, his .iso's checksum is different. Perhaps the Parted Magic distro compiler, Patrick Verner, has gotten creative and watermarked each .iso so that he can determine who is uploading his precious repackaged software. He's pretty pissed about Parted Magic being available on torrent sites, so I wouldn't put it past him to do something like that.
All I can say in my defense is that I purchased this software and downloaded it directly from the Parted Magic web site. I've been making this available on TPB and here for more than a year and no one's complained about anything other than the fact that one person was confused as to what the PXE files were for. As with anything you get from Usenet or torrent sites, always use with care and a healthy dose of paranoia as Chinese and Eastern European hackers are indeed out to get us.
There's a torrent on TPB for pmagic_2016_01_06 with only the main .iso, without the PXE files. The uploader of that torrent is listing a different md5um for .iso than mine as well. However, as I haven't downloaded the one you referenced here on KAT, I have no idea if it is the same checksum or not.
Here's the one on TPB:
https://thepiratebay.se/torr..._%28pmagic_2016_01_06.iso%29
The checksum reported there is:
MD5: 7f0225af66e601baf626a4905b4fc666
Does that match the one here on KAT you were referencing?
