I can confirm this works in 10.9.2 Mavericks. Thanks for the UP!
For noobs:
1. Install package.
2. Reboot.
3. Open Prefpane(provided).
4. Choose to replace.
5. Open Patch.app(provided)
6. Enjoy!

Note: You might need to have enabled installation from outer sources: System Preferences->Security->*Click Lock and authenticate* General->Allow apps d/l from Everywhere
