Overview, produced by the Planetary Collective, is a 20 minute film that celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Blue Marble photograph of Earth that was taken from Space. But don’t let that fool you, this documentary is about MUCH more than just the most famous picture of the Earth but rather about the surreal perspective altering experience that Astronauts have gone through when looking at our planet from beyond it. This experience, dubbed the Overview Effect, has changed the lives of Astronauts who have seen the incredible unity and interconnectedness of life on our planet, transcending all our differences that have created in our minds.
