1/7/13 O&A Show Rundown: New Studio; Movies; Robots; Letterman



They talk about how much they dreaded waking up this morning and joke about not working anymore until the wall between their studio and the old Martha Stewart studio behind them is taken down.


They go on for a little while longer about how it would be nice to be in a bigger studio again and joke about why it won't get done and they make Berlin Wall references. They count the other shows and other studios in the facility.


They talk about Gérard Depardieu who is moving from France to Russia because of France's high taxes.

they check out a trailer from one of his movies.


Ant talks about seeing the movie Taken 2 over the weekend.


Ant also talks about seeing the movie Zero Dark Thirty over the weekend.


Opie and Sam both talk for a while about seeing the movie Dark Days over the weekend about the mole people under NYC.


they check out a trailer of the movie.


Opie talks more about his experiences going underground during Christmas break.


They talk a little about a brutal gang-rape/attack on a girl in India and bring up a rape in Ohio.


They ask if there are any new updates to getting that other studio.


They mention a girl who works there who was on the first season of MTV's The Real World and talk about some of the other people and other seasons.


a where-are-they-now piece on a former country music singing Real World member.


Sam tells them that he just heard rumors that Shade 45 has been promised that they will get to move into the old Martha Stewart studio. Mars is called in to tell them what he has heard through the engineering department. Opie insists that they still want to pursue it anyway.


Opie brings up "Black Earl" who has become a really good photographer and they check out some of his pics.

They talk about football.


Jimmy returns to the studio after going to talk to bosses about a bigger studio and tells them what he was told.


They talk a little about hockey and the NY Islanders.


They talk about some movies again.


they are amazed at a trailer of an upcoming horror movie.


They bring up a pic of Tiger Woods' ex in the paper today and goof around a little.


They talk a little about Jimmy Kimmel.


Opie saying the N word with Whoo Kid who was in the studio Friday and flashing around all the hundred dollar bills he had in his pocket. Ant counts number of hundreds in his own pocket.


Samuel L Jackson trying to get a reporter to say the word last week.


Opie reads an interview of that reporter trying to defend himself.

They talk a little about another recent shooting.


Opie shows them a game he's been playing and Ant tries to help him out with it.


They talk some more about football.

They talk about all of the current late-night talk show hosts.


They bring up Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon both embracing the internet and wonder what SiriusXM has online from the O&A show. They go to the company website and wait and wait and wait but the O&A show webpage isn't working. They goof around and Sam is sent to tell the "Radio Wizard" about the issue.


they check out some videos of "Billy on the Street".

They look at the company's YouTube page and see that there are only three videos from the O&A show and wonder why Radio Wizard doesn't do anything about it.


They play a guessing game with Sam who found out some gossip about why Shade 45 wants to move to the old Martha Stewart studio that Opie & Anthony want. They goof around some more about it and try to figure out ways that they can claim that studio. Opie reads a tweet which leads them to create and post signs telling people to keep out of that studio because the O&A show wants it.


They see rapper "Common" out in the hallway and call him in for just a minute to say hi.


They see "radio wizard" Gary in the hall and call him in to ask him about the studio.


They do Line of the Day and the show ends.
