WHAT IS SEEDING?
Seeding means allowing others to download pieces/parts of the file from your copy of it via your torrent program (Utorrent, BitTorrent, Vuze, etc.).

HOW TO SEED?
When you've completely downloaded the file, your torrent program automatically seeds it. You can leave the file on your torrent program, with your computer and internet up and running. As long as you don't stop or remove the file from your torrent program, it continues to seed.

WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS IF THERE ARE MANY SEEDERS?
The more seeders there are, the higher the availability of the file, the faster the file can be downloaded. (This is assuming you have a decent internet connection and your Internet Service Provider does not limit your torrent download speed.)
