These files are not quite fake but use a F@#$ed up mp3 format that does not use id3 tags, so wmp itunes and other popular players won't open the file. Anyone who posts this format for torrent dl is an total A-hole. Sounds like a vinyl rip (pops and clicks) of decent quality.
