Collection of retextures, mods, and maps compiled into selectable vpk's - anything can be turned off. This collection retextures items in-game to be more realistic. It also makes improvements to some of the sound files and has the option of turning off the background music for competitive play. The collection does not alter gameplay or the theme of the game. The weapons are improved, realistic versions of the defaults. Interface changes are minimal: player health counter and improved map selection preview pics. The best, most popular, user-created maps are included in this pack. Your friends need only download and install this one file to add these incredible maps to your playable list (all players must have the maps). I made no alterations to the maps: they are the most recent releases from the original authors. Copy the VPKs to the steamappscommonleft 4 deadleft4deadaddons folder. addonlist.txt goes in the left4dead folder (overwrite the existing). Your addons will be added to the bottom of addonlist.txt when the game is started. They will likely conflict with these. Uncheck them or move the vpk's to a temp folder prior to installing this pack.
