Taken from their ninth album, Skeletal Lamping, which over the

course of the record's fifteen tracks, keven barnes, the

band's singer and songwriter, shines a light on the deepest,

darkest corners of his psyche. "We climbed up on the rocky

shore and freaked out on the mountains goats but they were not

impressed or scared of us" is an example of some of the more

lucid lyrics in 'An Eluardian Instance'. This is an

uplighting, wistful pop song complete with jovial handclaps

and elevating trombones before ending in Indian influenced

psychedelia. The single also features two brilliant

reinterpretations by Grammy-nominated producer Jon Brion.
