it seems that the subtitles have to be added manually, by choosing in the folder where the subtitles are.

You might want to check the subtitle settings in your media player, because the subtitles work perfectly in this movie.

If you're talking about watching the movie on a TV, you might want to rename the SRT file so that it's title is exactly the same as the movie's title before you plug in your flash drive.
