It was warm. It was comforting ? it was cool and it was most definitely hip. While not overtly 'erotic' - one thing was for sure, the music was indeed sensual and erotic in its pulse and delivery. Descriptions galore were to follow. It sounds like Mannheim Steamroller teamed up with William Orbit and set their music to a tribal backdrop. Well whatever the conclusion, the music, the series and now the collection, have set the ?mood? for countless sessions of romantic encounters. Sensual, Dynamic, Intriguing, and Exciting ? Erotic Moods The Collection brings the first 3 volumes of the series together in one package. Too much borrowed material, February 22, 2004 Reviewer: A music fan The music, well-performed and well-suited for romance, borrows far too much from other well known sources that it begins to interfere with the enjoyment of the music. The music draws much from Enigma, Deep Forest, and Art of Noise, with some elements similar to Moby, B-Tribe, Mythos, and so forth. Fans may get distracted as one tends to pick apart the music sources as the music plays. My recommendation: if you are a fan and well-versed with Enigma/Delerium, Deep Forest/B-Tribe/Mythos, and Art of Noise - look elsewhere or compile the mellower tunes from these artists into your own CD. For those that don't follow these bands other than when they pop up on the radio but like the samples on Amazon, the music is quite good for a romantic aural setting. Nusound = Enigma Wannabe's, November 25, 2000 Reviewer: RoyalJelly (Edmonton, CANADA) Nusound seems more like a band that wants to be what Enigma or Delerium are, and really, no new ground is reached here. An assortment of synthesizer sounds are uninspiringly mixed along with the occasional Gregorian monk or native chants, or other natural instruments sounds, that seems all too familiar. I do not understand why this album is entitled "Erotic Moods 2", because it hardly conjures any sense of eroticism or sensuality in their music. I'd rather pick up a Sade or Vanessa Daou album for that purpose. Wonderful Moods..., November 22, 1999 Reviewer: A music fan Erotic Moods is an excellent choice for background instrumental music. You're aware of the music, but it's not overpowering, it doesn't distract you, but rather stimulates you. I also enjoy falling asleep to it! While I wasn't sure what to expect from a disc that promised "erotic moods," this collection of rhythmic compositions proved surprisingly satisfying. Whether chant-like, full of echoes, soundtrack-like, techno, jazzy, new age, heavenly or just soothing, each piece has a strong pulse. It offers a charming combination of tunes by male and female vocalists and instrumentals that's sure to please, no matter what your mood. Each and every one of the 15 musical selections has a lot to offer. Although this disc proves somewhat similar in nature to my tried and true mood music (Yanni, Enya, James Horner and Vangelis), Erotic Moods will certainly get the heart pounding and emotions flowing in a pinch. The Very Best Of features pleasing sounds under exotic titles such as "Sahara Sun," "India," "Of Life and Love," "Morocco," "For Want of Her," "Etude Amour," "My Beloved," "On Wings of Angels," "Shadows of the Day," "Breathe With Me," "The Heart Given," "Majorca," "Pacifica," "Hush" and "Visi D'Arte." These selections were chosen from NuSound's previous releases, Erotic Moods 1, Erotic Moods 2, Erotic Moods 3, Holiday Moods 1 and Holiday Moods 2. These tastes will certainly inspire a listen to the originals. I must admit, the more I listened to this disc, the fonder I grew! Related Torrents
