[2001]: ...in the beginning of 2001 Nuklear Dawn released, by the means it had available, it's first song: "cuts like a razor"... thanks to some friends that first song became a humble dancefloor hit... side by side with two other newcoming portuguese bands, Syntax::Orion and Mechanique, Nuklear Dawn tried to fill a gap in the portuguese musical scene: the complete inexistence of electro-industrial bands... [2002]: ...the year 2002 came with the long awaited possibility of a collaboration between [Synth-Axis] and Sentinel Alpha (a.k.a. |Apollos| - guest Dj at the monthly electro-industrial sessions held at LIMBO)... the first born child of this collaboration is an instrumental song called "man.u.factured" that shows the band's intents to continue exploring new harsh electro-industrial soundscapes... [2002]: ...after having showed up on an article at Side-Line Music Magazine's site the project gained a new strength and both members of the band started to upgrade their gear searching for new and better equipment to improve unfinished works... with the chance for a first live act in mind Nuklear Dawn releases two instrumental tracks: a new song called "troops of gold" and a upgraded version of an old work called "mnemonic conspirations"... [2003]: ...the band starts this new year with the release of a new song with vocals... "the day the world ended" shows how the band is more mature and hits the dancefloor although it was not composed to be a club track... [2003]: ...06.08.2003 marks the day when Nuklear Dawn went live... the concert was held at club [LIMBO] is Lisbon where the band performed before an audience of more than a hundred friends and it was obvious that this was a day that none of them will ever forget... all of the eigth tracks performed were re-arranged for the event and all will be available on the band's promo cd soon to be released... [2003]: ...after the first live act the two members of the band registered the domain www.nukleardawn.com (replacing the previous official site) and started working on the promo cd... some of the final recordings were made available online so songs like "man.u.factured", "the day the world ended", mnemonic conspirations" and "troops of gold" are now available for download in their most updated versions at mp3 hosts like IUMA... ...
