Those old enough to have watched the hit ensemble TV show, Northern Exposure - famous for its extensive music track - may have caught the final episode (which might accurately have been titled Nostalgia). The closing song could not have been more on the spot. Legend has it that Iris Dement was on a bus going home in northern Arkansas when she saw a nearly abandoned small town.
