Norton 2011 TrialReset v3.1.0 (NTR2011-v3.1.0) extends the trial period
of Norton 2011 (NAV + NIS) so there's more time to evaluate the product.
Norton 2011 TrialReset v3.1.0 is for:
- Norton AntiVirus 2011 v18.1.0.37
- Norton Internet Security 2011 v18.1.0.37
* Norton TrialReset 2011 v3.1.0 is not for Norton 360.
* Tested on XP (x86), Vista (x86/x64), Win7 (x86/x64).
* It may not work with future patches/updates.
* Norton Removal Tool 2011.0.0.15 included.
* NET framework v3.5 must be installed.
* Norton 2011 download links included.
Installation notes (updated):

Read both the updated and original install notes plus info before starting
(you may want/need to vary the installation).
If Norton is installed and expired, then uninstall Norton and restart the computer.
(If Norton is installed but has not expired, then skip to Step 5.)
1. Uninstall any versions of TrialReset. You must use that version to uninstall it first.
- Delete and PURGE your Recycle Bin of all TrialReset versions prior to this version.
2. Uninstall any previous Norton installations.
- Norton Removal Tool 2011.0.0.15 is included and can also be used.
- Run NTR2011-v3.1.0 and purge Norton remnants.
- Then restart the computer.
3. Hide NTR2011-v3.1.0 (USB flash drive works) before installing Norton.
4. Install Norton 2011 (NAV or NIS) - (Clean install).
5. Disable Norton Product Tamper Protection in the "Miscellaneous Settings".
6. Run LiveUpdate until there are no more updates. (Restart the computer if required.)
7. Disconnect internet and disable Norton AntiVirus.
8. Run NTR2011-v3.1.0 (as Administrator) and follow the instructions.
After installation you need to reconfigure your Norton settings.
NOTE A: If necessary install the TrialReset in Safe Mode (F8) using an Administrator account.
Disconnect internet and disable Norton AntiVirus before you login into Safe Mode.
NOTE B: If the SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRES, click on 'Subscription Status' button to confirm.
NOTE C: If you want to uninstall the TrialReset just click 'Uninstall'.
Make sure that you uninstall the TrialReset before removing Norton!
