In my ears and for my enjoyment it is a definite improvement of my recordings. If you do not crave those techniques on live audience recordings this show may not be for you. Show Notes: Excellent show from the Sziget festival in Budapest. Very good sound with a nice bass sound from where I was standing. The crowd was very much into it and didnt mind the mud and little bit of rain. The band played their more hit oriented setlist which suited me just fine. The visuals were stunning, especially the video wall they used in the middle of their set. I wish they would use it for more of the set, maybe even all or half of it since it creates a fantastic athmosphere. Trent was very pleased with the crowd and seemed to enjoy the festival too. They arrived a day early to see Skinny Puppy play. From a recording point of view this turned out to sound excellent. In the middle (me Im not - the good soldier) I had to put up my rain cover so it sounds a little more muffled on those songs. Still very good I find. As usual this has been mastered so be wary if you do not like post processed recordings. Hope the rest of you enjoys this as much as we did! -------------------------------------------------------------- Sharing Widget |
