What is New Episode Notifier?
With a name that is pretty much self explanatory, New Episode Notifier sets out to alert you each time a new episode from a list of user defined shows has been released. It does this by unobtrusively sitting in the system tray in a neat messenger like interface.
Using New Episode Notifier is quite easy. Note that you are required to create an account but you can do that from within the program's interface; no need to open up your browser, validate your mail or anything. Once logged, look up your favorite shows using the built-in search function and add them to the program's database to monitor.
The application checks regularly for new episode releases and will prompt you with a notification once it finds one. New episodes are provided with details that will lead you to the naptv.us website which contains information about that specific show as well as a download link.
You can setup New Episode Notifier to run at startup, auto log, show notifications whenever a new episode is available as well as play a sound. The time interval between checks is also customizable (20 minutes by default).
New Episode Notifier is built in C#, PHP, is an open-source project and thus completely Free!
The application runs on Windows Xp machines onwards and requires the pre-installation of Microsoft .Net Framework.
