After much digging around the web this is indeed a special, but it's not a Ghost Adventures special it's a Travel Channel special.

Nether World is a solo project Zak had announced last year with, at that time, an unknown air date. Well that air date turned out to be April 5th, 2014. Zak's birthday. Cute, huh?

Ghost Adventures is back next week with the real E08 Saint James Hospital.

Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks - a new series hosted by Zak going back to past locations of investigations to see how the people are doing since GAC was there - starts in a couple weeks.

And lastly, Ghost Adventures S10 has been confirmed to begin this fall.
