Biography:

Fed-up with the entire trend flooding the scene, NERVOCHAOS was born on the spring of 96, with the idea of creating an aggressive and chaotic music shredding the barriers of Death Metal and Hard Core.
NERVOCHAOS gained cult status in the extreme music scene due to their hard work over the past years, offering a sonic extravaganza in their unique way.
Their demo-tapes have become collector’s items in the underground, supporting their regular releases.

Their 1st four track demo-tape, “Nervo Chaos” was released in late 96.
“Pay Back Time” is the band’s debut full length CD and it was released in early 98 by Tumba Records.
“Disfigured Christ” is the band’s 2nd four track demo-tape and came out in early 2000 by Tumba Records.
NERVOCHAOS released in 2002, via Destroyer Records, their 2nd full length CD “Legion of Spirits Infernal”.

The 3rd four track demo-tape “Necro Satanic Cult” was released once again by Tumba Records in 2004.
“Quarrel in Hell” is the band’s 3rd album, released in 2006 by Tumba Records in Brazil and Ibex Moon Records in the USA.
In 2010, the band has their 4th full length CD “Battalions of Hate” released by Tumba Records.
2011 is marked by the 1st live album, “Live Rituals”, released by Tumba Records.
5th full length CD, “To The Death” is released by Cogumelo in 2012.



Review:




12 perfect songs awaits us all, but the better moments of the album are the brutal “The Harvest” (a more traditional song for the band, but some great arrangements arise here and there), “For Passion Not For Fashion” (where the musical evolution is more perceptible, especially on drums and vocals), “The Devil’s Work” (with a not so fast tempo, where bass and guitars are extremely fine), the bitter “From Below and Not Above” (a slower song with great work from bass), “Shadows of Destruction” (with some kind of Swedish Death Metal influence, and great arrangements on bass and drums), the more traditional and with touches from Thrash Metal “Legacy of Pain”, and their personal version for HEADHUNTER D.C. song “Lightless”.

NERVOCHAOS is a hard working band in the Brazilian Metal scene, and always do more than asked.
