Translation: – For some reason the Italian audio previews are longer than the Japanese video previews. – There are some dialogues “hidden” in the ending of the episode 16 that weren’t translated in French. Most of these lines came from episode 20. We added them. – Again in French, we added missing dialogues in the prologue of episode 21 (about the Lance of Longinus), and subliminal or stroboscopic writings in a few places. Video processing: – Most grain has been filtered, but we kept it more or less intact on delicate scenes. – A few episodes have been color-corrected: 1 and 2 had their colored tint removed, and 19 was fully regraded, thanks to Sephirotic. – Episode 16 film has been lost by the studio, the Blu-ray version is an average upscale from an old SD master. We tried to improve its aspect to make it more consistent with the other episodes. We did the same with a few previews that came from SD masters. – Episodes 1, 3, 10 and 12 suffered from “decimation errors”. Lot of scenes had abnormal jerky animations that were smooth on the DVD edition. We fixed most of them. – The lineart was often surrounded with colored halos, like a chromatic aberration, sometimes very pronounced. We tried to fix it to make the black lines stronger and sharper.
