Nelson Freire tells the story of Minas born child prodigy who became international unanimity.
Filmed in Brazil, France, Belgium and Russia, this documentary follows the routine Nelson in concerts and recitals, from the first contact with the piano to the reception of admirers in the dressing room.
An extraordinarily beautiful music punctuates the film: Nelson plays Brahms, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Bach, Gluck, Villa-Lobos, and plays Rachmaninoff four hands with Martha Argerich.
