With over 150 ultraviolent shots restored and re-edited - this is the version the American ratings board would not allow the viewing audience to see. They wanted to label the film with an X, so Oliver conceded feeling that the film was too important for audiences NOT to see, and he recut it to recieve the R rating - to expand his audience.

But its all back now and available to you. A brilliant satire and a 'tongue in cheek' look at America's fascination with media violence, and psychopathology, Natural Born Killers - Unrated - Directors Cut earns a place in any collection as a commentary on western culture, media influence and deconstruction.
