Grey Book: compiled by members of narcotics anonymous from 1979 - 1981. This is what I call the "rough draft" of the Basic Text. 



The Fellowship of Narcotics Anonymous approved the Basic Text 1st Ed, printing began in 1983.

Copies of "The Grey Book" and approval forms went out to all known NA Groups, and THIS book was NOT APPROVED. Many changes were suggested, and made. This Book was NEVER Published, nor was it ever used to aid any NA NEWCOMERS in finding the message of hope, or experiencing their own recovery.
