Description

This is rather meditative Japanese traditional music by Nanae Yoshimura playing koto solos.

Volumes 1 et 3 are FLAC.
Volume 2 is MPC.

Sorry about the format disparity. You see, I ripped these CDs for my own use a while ago (when MPC still seemed to make sense), and now I'm sharing them because nobody else does. I won't insult you by converting (slightly) lossy MPCs to FLAC - that would just make the torrent look nicer but sound no better.

(Now if someone wants to do a transcode and repack the whole thing, they have my blessing.)

I've just tried playing them in VLC, and you're right: it doesn't work. I'm very surprised, because, even though MPC is obsolete now, it used to be supported by most multi-format players. I play them in Foobar2000 (under Windows) and it works just fine. There's not even any of the seeking problems early implementations of MPC used to display. I recommend Foobar2000 not only as a good player, but also as a good transcoder, in case you'd like to convert them into a less exotic format. (Note that F2k is a bit nerdish a tool, so it takes some patience getting used to.)
