Behind each artifact is yet another story to be told and secrets to be revealed. They tell tales brimming with scandal, mystery, murder and intrigue. In this season, history buff Don Wildman takes viewers on a captivating, revealing and at times, shocking tour of America's past, revisiting its most crucial events by re-examining what has been left behind. 1) Siamese Twins In the Season 2 opener, Don Wildman visits Philadelphia's Mutter Museum, which houses a collection of medical oddities, including the death cast of conjoined twins Chang and Eng Bunker (1811-74). He also checks out Al Capone's former jail cell; and an umbrella that played a critical role in the Cold War assassination of Bulgarian dissident Georgi Markov. 2) Annabelle Doll Don visits the Warren's Occult Museum in Monroe, Conn., for a look at a rag doll that's said to be possessed. At the Minnesota History Center, he studies a blueprint that holds the key to a deadly engineering disaster; and at the Nantucket Whaling Museum, he examines a journal that inspired a classic work of American literature. 3) Butch Cassidy Manuscript See the manuscript that holds the key to the mystery behind the deaths of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, the primitive tunnel dug by Willie Sutton at the Eastern State Penitentiary and more. 4) S S Eastland Disaster Don visits Chicago's Eastland Disaster Historical Society, dedicated to one of the worst maritime disasters in American history. Later, he checks out an ax wielded by a killer in a bizarre double murder. 5) French Connection The Area 51 Museum in Las Vegas is visited. The host also examines a gold ingot recovered from a shipwreck. 6) Shrunken Heads Don reads a handwritten journal detailing the ill-fated Greely Arctic Expedition (1881-1884). He also checks out what appears to be a shrunken head, brought back from the jungles of South America. 7) Outlaw Shoes Host Don Wildman inspects a strange pair of shoes that starred in one of the most bizarre and gruesome tales of the Wild West. He examines a miniature spacesuit - worn by a most unconventional space pioneer. 8) Anthrax Don examines a cardboard box that's contents were tied to a deadly outbreak that brought fear. He inspects a pill bottle that may shed light on an icon's death. He investigates why a Civil War submarine vanished without a trace. 9) Lotto Scam Don Wildman inspects a lottery ticket inscribed with the digits 6-6-6 linked to the only known lottery scam. He surveys a giant lifeboat that survived a hijacking and investigates a damaged airplane linked to ghost sightings. 10) Flying Car Don examines the stories behind a flying car, a Pennsylvania prison riot, a 1964 Alaska earthquake, a 1911 Coney Island Fire, a heroic carrier pigeon from World War I, and Ishi, the last Deer Creek Indian.
