Twilight Sparkle prepares to spend the weekend with Princess Cadance when she visits Ponyville, while Fluttershy has been invited to observing the Breezies. While Twilight and Cadance are off, Discord shows up, having the case of the "blue flu" causing him magic to go haywire, and tries to get the others to care for him. He eventually turns to Twilight and Cadance, the only two that can stand him despite trying to have a time for bonding. He reveals that the only cure for the blue flu is from a plant at the edge of Equestria. The three travel to the plant and recover it after fighting off a tatzelwurm guarding the plant. As they get to safety, Discord reveals his illness was all a ploy to see if Twilight would travel to the ends of the world to be his friend. Cadance injects, pointing out that she enjoyed the adventure as a change from her normal boring royal duties, and thanks Discord for the opportunity. The tatzelwurm reappears and spits up a goo that really causes Discord to get sick, and Fluttershy and the others help to nurse him back to health under careful watch.
