Klaus Badelt
Klaus Badelt (Francoforte sul Meno, 1968) è un compositore e autore di colonne sonore tedesco.
Collaboratore attivo di Hans Zimmer, un altro compositore di colonne sonore. I due utilizzano spesso lo stesso studio di registrazione situato a Santa Monica, California. L'incredibile stile armonico delle composizioni di questo grande musicista lo rendono un autore di straordinario talento.
Come aiuto compositore di Zimmer, Badelt ha contribuito alla realizzazione della straordinaria colonna sonora del film Il Gladiatore di Ridley Scott.
Data la sua estroversa attitudine collaborativa e la capacità di creare temi musicali profondi e originali, ci sono voci non ufficiali sul fatto che molti compositori di colonne sonore di film Hollywoodiani, attingano alla collaborazione di Badelt per elaborare nuove idee musicali.

Per quasi tre decenni, ha composto musiche di film di grande successo tra cui Rain man - L'uomo della pioggia, Il re leone, Il gladiatore, Allarme rosso, La sottile linea rossa, L'ultimo samurai, Pirati dei Caraibi: La maledizione della prima luna, Pirati dei Caraibi: La maledizione del forziere fantasma, Pirati dei Caraibi: Ai confini del mondo, Il codice da Vinci, Angeli e Demoni, Frost/Nixon - Il duello, Batman Begins, Il cavaliere oscuro, Inception, The Rock, Il principe d'Egitto, Spirit - Cavallo selvaggio, e tanti altri film che hanno avuto successo anche grazie alle sue musiche.
Sue le musiche di Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 uscito nel 2009.
Nello stesso anno, il maestro Hans Zimmer ha composto le musiche per ben 4 film di successo tra cui Angeli e Demoni e Sherlock Holmes. Per il film di Guy Ritchie, Zimmer ottiene una nomination all'Oscar.
Nel 2010 firma le colonne sonore di Inception (campioni d'incassi del regista di Batman Begins e Il Cavaliere Oscuro Christopher Nolan) e The Pacific per il quale vince un Emmy Awards (7 vinti), miniserie prodotta da Steven Spielberg e Tom Hanks.

City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, City Of Prague Philharmonic Choir
The orchestra started out, after World War II, in 1947, as the in-house full orchestra regularly playing music for film, television and animation productions at the world famous Barrandov Film Studios, in Prague, as well as the historic Krátký Film productions (meaning "short film," in Czech), and the former Czechoslovak Television. At the time, it was somewhat smaller than today and it was called the Filmový symfonický orchestr (FISYO) (The Film Symphony Orchestra) or was sometimes known as the Film Symphony of Prague. Many wonderful international films were done by this orchestra in the early days. A good example came in 1986, during the grim and hard times of communism/socialism, when David Lynch first came to Prague and recorded the music for his film Blue Velvet. Additional recordings are made for film production companies such as Paramount, Sony, Lucasfilm and many others in the Smečky Sound Recording Studio. David Lynch returned again in 1997 to record his Lost Highway, and yet again in 2001 to record Mulholland Drive.
Fully privatized after the Velvet Revolution, today, the musicians and supporting professionals continue to play and record music together (usually every day of the week) for major international films, television series, CDs/DVDs, video games, and even ring tones - both for the Czech Republic market and for clients & media productions around the world.
