Plot Outline:

Kate Graham had it all - beautiful looks, great friends and a

millionaire husband. But her perfect life is turned upside down

when her husband files for divorce, only to be found murdered

days later, allegedly at the hands of her best friend, Jim. Soon

Kate comes face to face with the real killer, the brilliant and

handsome Michael Mathis, who demands a 10% cut of her inheritance

as his "fee" for the murder. When she refuses to pay, he

threatens to plant evidence linking her to her husband's killing.



Kate goes to the police, but rather than believe her, they begin

to view her as a suspect. Desperate to prove her innocence and

save her best friend, she sets out to find her tormentor. Soon

she discovers that she's dealing with a serial killer who has

left a trail of similar victims scattered across the country.
