Multicyde - Multicydal (FLAC) - 1999

Multicyde was a pop-, soul- and Hip hop-band from Oslo, Norway. The band is best known for songs like "Not for the Dough" and "A Better Day". They was nominated for best song of the year("Not for the Dough") and for the best music video at Spellemannprisen 1999. The band members was Lars Larssen Naumann and Patrick Hauge. Silje Nymoen was a regular guest vocal. She used the stage name Anéa when she was playing with Multicyde.

The characteristics of the bands biggest hits was that known norwegian melodies from movies, TV and popular music was sampled, just as Bent Fabricius-Bjerres harmonica theme from Flåklypa Grand Prix in "Not for the Dough", the theme from TV-series Fleksnes in "Claptrap" and Henning Sommerros theme "Vårsøg" in "A Better Day".

Multicydal is the debut album by Norwegian hip-hop band Multicyde, it was released in 1999. The album stayed for ten weeks on the VG-charts and ended up on 3. place as the best ranking.
