This film comes from a D-Theater (D-VHS) high definition source. The original source is from a digital transfer made specifically for D-VHS's ridiculously high bitrate. The picture quality is absolutely stunning. It's 1280 x 544 @ 23.976 fps / 3728 Kbps. You will see every detail, and the director's copious saturated color and fast camera action.
The audio is 5.1 AC3 / 576 Kbps.\n
This is SO much better than the DVD version, and IMMEASURABLY better than any of the DVD rips. It's worth every minute you spend downloading this extravvaganza.\n
Note that this film is expected to be released on Blu-ray in late 2010 utilizing a brand new transfer, with the director redoing the color timing frame by frame. That will be a new source to look forward to.
