question...what happened to the audio?

I extracted the FP4 AAC audio track to re-encode to AC3 so as to remux again to MKV, running the converted to wav file thru Soundforge revealed all of this flanging/noise/hissing/distorting in the audio, did that happen when encoding or was that in the source?

Nothing wrong with the audio. It plays fine as is. You shouldn't rate a file if you're going to alter it

I didn't say it did not play,

there's a lot of background noise in the two channels (especially at the very front end), it is especially noticeable when heard thru headphones.

I'm assuming that the uploader uses a MAC (hence the MP4),Mac's don't seem to like AC3 for some reason, but I'm on a PC, all my HD video/audio is in MKV/AC3/DTS or TS/AC3/DTS containers.

Great thanks. But, can you keep the file names shorter. I can't transfer them to my TV with such long names. Then I have to rename and to do that I have to stop seeding...so!

Ask KAT to fix their search engine and then I'll keep my filenames shorter. Don't worry about seeding, I got a few monster seedboxes helping out. Feel free to re-name so it works. I've tried to re-create the long filename/folder name problem on my computer, my network, with my media player, and I can't make it screw up no matter how long I make the filenames!! :(
