Great upload, mucho thanks to the uploader, but this game really should be experienced by more than one player. You can either jump through some hoops to get it to work online, or you can shell out some cash for a quick and easy legit copy. You'll have all the fellow burglars you could ever need.
Just saying. Most games can be played perfectly well in a cracked form, some others really work at their best if there's other folks around. This is one of them.

Install & run it in Sandboxie then explore the sandbox directory to see what files were created. Most infections copy EXE files to your user profile or temp directory, etc.
If you've already installed a game that was suspicious, check to see what new startup registry entries have been added to your system. The most common startup registry keys are here: HKLUSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion\n
un and the same for HKCU. Alternatively you can use MSCONFIG to check.\n
A simple virus scan isn't enough as most newly posted trojans are encrypted using a "crypter" and are FUD (Fully UnDetectable) for at least a couple weeks. The authors verify the trojan is FUD by using online virus scanners that don't submit samples such as Element Scanner or novirusthanks. For $50, anyone could crypt a trojan horse and infect 1000's of PC's without being flagged. Even though a game works and isn't detected by your AV client, it doesn't mean it's not infected. Sometimes you have to do your own digging to know for sure. \n
I know I have zero credibility as I just created this account to make this post, however, I did my own digging and found no evidence of any startup files or anything abnormal that would indicate malware/trojan activity. Thanks TankTan38 for the clean torrent.
