Microsoft Windows 7's classic games, collected and patchable to work with Windows 8's desktop environment. (Not Metro.)

Includes games like Mine Sweeper, Hearts, Chess, Solitaire, etc...


Installation Instructions:

1. Copy the Microsoft Games folder behind C:Program Files
2: Copy the CardGames.dll file behind C:WindowsSystem32
3. Run microsoft.games.patcher.1.2-patch.exe in order to crack the .exe files and allow them to run under Windows versions other than 7.
4. Create shortcuts from each game's executable (.exe) file and place it anywhere you like.
5. Launch the games and enjoy.

*** The patcher might show a false positive in some antivirus programs. This is because it contains dual-use software used to crack files. It is safe.

*** If you don't want to use the patcher, you can crack the files manually using a hex editor. To do so, open each game's executable and search for the following:

7D 04 83 65 FC 00 33 C0 83 7D FC 01 0F 94 C0

Those bytes are responsible for performing a Windows version check on game start.
