The main character is a young warrior named Desmond (known as Takeru in the Japanese version). After liberating Strawberry Fields from an evil curse in his previous adventure, Desmond finds himself in a situation unworthy of his heroic status: robbers have taken all his possessions, including his magic sword, and even his clothes! So the first task for the unsuccessful hero is to get some money. Luckily, the mayor has an assignment for him, for which he is also willing to pay. Desmond accepts the assignment without knowing what it will lead to - traveling all over the world, fighting fearsome enemies, encountering beautiful women, and solving a mystery that will also reveal the secret of his own true identity!

!This is a DOS CD-ROM game. IT IS NOT A WINDOWS GAME! You'll need DOSBox to run it.

1. Mount Knights of Xentar.iso in DAEMON Tools.
2. Install DOSBox and run it.
3. Instructions for installing the game with DOSBox:
- Type in DOSBox(press Enter after entering a command line):
Mount c c:
Mount d d:(d: is the drive letter of the virtual drive Deamon Tools created for the image file, if it's different for you, type the letter you see on your screen. i.e. if your letter is F, type Mount d f:)

- After you type install.exe the installation process will begin.
- Press F1 to install the game(C:GAMESXENTAR).
- Press Y to confirm the installation directory.
- Press Enter and type ML(press Enter again) to start the game.
- If you want to exit the game and start again you have to mount the same drives as in the install process. Type in DOSBox(press Enter after entering a command line):

cd Xentar

!!! Installing NR-18 UPGRADE:
Type in DOSBox [drive letter]:UPGRADE from the directory where the Xentar NR-13 version is located. The default directory is C:GAMESXENTAR.

The Xentar Upgrade program will update your NR-13 files located on your hard disk.
