THE CD ISNT EVEN OUT YET THIS IS A "LEAK"
SO what you are saying is that this guy transcoded the 256 or whatever source mp3 upcoded to FLAC at ultra high bit rate?
whats the point of that? why not just do a high bitrate mp3?
or is MP3 limited to a maximum bitrate and thus using FLAC to achieve a higher bit rate?
if that is so why doesnt the uploader come clean and just SAY IT??
I used MediaTab (http://mediatab.mediaarea.net/) to check it - i changed the extension frojm .flac to .mp3 this is what it gave me ( I know its not perhaps true, [or not] but this is what it has to display )
normally for FLAC, MediaTab will not even come up on the properties its just not there, but it WILL do any other audio file like mp3, so on a whim I changed the extension to .mp3, and voila there it is.
the bit rate at 1058 (1032 actually) and "FLAC" but i also looked at the spectro using audiochecker (it also said "CUTOFF") im not quite sure how to read it.
I did not realise that FLAC is so difficult to verify i spent the last half hour looking it up and all i can find it to look at spectro grams...is there no other way?
