Here is a dvd-a/v disc of the quadraphonic mixes of Van McCoy - Disco Baby, converted from Japanese cd-4 vinyl.

This iso image needs to be burned to a dvd-r, and then played back on a player equipped to playback dvd-a for lossless hi-res playback, or on a dvd player hooked up to a home theater properly setup for dts playback.

There is no dolby digital on this, just dts 96 24, which is backwards compatible with dts. Just about any receiver that can do dolby digital can do dts, so it seems redundant to me to include both. Check your settings, make sure your using the digital out on your dvd player, and that it's set to the right output mode (read the manuals, sometimes there are different digital modes that you have to have the correct one selected). Once you have it right, your receiver should be detecting a dts stream and decoding it.

Unfortunately, your quad rips just play as Dolby Pro Logic, not Dolby Digital, on my system. There's no bass at all.
