Installation Instructions

1 Mount MathTypeMac6.7dInstaller.dmg
2 Install MathType
2a Just in case switch off the Internet and block MathType traffic in System Preferences-> Security&Privacy-> Firewall-> Firewall Options
3 Generate key with MTkey.app
If you can't run MTkey.app, follow steps 3a, 3b otherwise go to step 4:
3a Open Terminal FROM the MTkey.app FOLDER (right click on the folder Services->New terminal tab…)
3aa You can enable these services with System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Services. Look for "New Terminal at Folder" and "New Terminal Tab at Folder".
3b Type in

chmod +x ./MTKey.app/Contents/MacOS/MTkey

and press enter
4 Fill in generated keygen and any name in MathType
5 Enjoy
