Description

Mark Chapman presents highlights of today's two Premier League matches, including Manchester United against Liverpool, and a look back at all of Saturday's action. Liverpool completed a first league double over their great rivals in five years last season, Steven Gerrard scoring two penalties in their 3-0 win at Old Trafford in March. United had won eight of the previous nine home league games against the Reds. Which way will the pendulum swing in their first meeting of the 2014-15 campaign? Tottenham travelled to Swansea in the day's other game, a fixture Spurs have historically enjoyed in Premier League past. The north London club have won five of the previous six meetings, only dropping points in their first meeting back in December 2011.

Best 50fps quality as usual, thank you :)
High praise indeed coming from you. Keep up the sterling effort. ;)
Your ignorance is understandable. It is captured at 50fps. It's quite easy to prove. If you download and use a program like AVIDemux (or even MPC-HC) and go one frame at a time you will see there is no frame doubling. Compare this to the MotD2 FTP 25fps release and you can clearly see the extra frames.

FYI Top Gear switches between 50fps and 25fps during broadcast. The studio portions are in 50fps and road sections 25fps.
This is a quote from the encode on HDBits...
"This is a variable framerate encode of Top Gear. Studio sections + celebrity/Stig laps are shot at 50fps, while the films are shot at 25fps. This VFR encode presents each section at the correct framerate, so no bits are wasted, and no unique frames are thrown out (like in the scene encodes). Xlogo has also been applied to remove the BBC HD logo."
Thanks a lot!
