Our party mixes are always well received so we wanted to produce another for inclusion on Issue 309. The tracklisting was inspired by the track ‘Stuck’ by Caro Emerald. This infectious track puts you in the party mood and sets the mood for the rest of the mix.

The ska style tracks keep the overall energy of the mix up and allowed producer Jon Hitchen to use a selection of different party tracks whilst still maintaining a floorfilling mix. Pato Banton’s ‘Baby Come Back’ & ‘Do Your Thing’ by Basement Jaxx are perfect examples of this.

The mix continues to build in pace before reaching a climatic finale with ‘Baddest Ruffest’ by Backyard Dog and the brilliant ‘10/10′ by Paulo Nutini…both of which have become modern party classics for many DJs as part of their sets.
