Mary Queen Of Shops – Season 2 Repack Thanks to the original “Anonymous” uploaders From The Independent: "Portas made her name (as revered in retailing as Louis Vuitton or John Lewis) when she turned around the fortunes of a fusty little department store in Knightsbridge called Harvey Nichols in the early Nineties. In her TV series – one of the summer's sleeper hits – she performs the same magic trick on shoddy shops up and down the country. It makes marvellous TV and appeals to the British viewing public's penchant for schadenfreude and fondness for colourful characters who've got answers. And now it seems that the public have taken to Portas's tough-love as much as they have to Super Nanny or Gordon Ramsay. " 1/6 - Blinkz Retail guru, Mary Portas is back to save the small fashion boutique from extinction. This series she comes to the aid of five independent shops that are fighting for survival. Mary visits Ascot, home of Blinkz, a shop that caters for the fuller figured woman. It is owned by size 10 gym fanatic Amanda Collins. Mary is shocked to discover that Amanda's attitude to her plus-size customers leaves a lot to be desired. 2/6 - Floyds Retail guru Mary Portas is back to save the fashion boutique. Mary encounters Floyds, a boutique and bar. The owner doesn't know why it's failing so Mary needs to find out. 3/6 - HT Burt Retail expert Mary Portas helps the owners of a family-run boutique in Chorlton whose takings are at an all-time low. She calls in GQ editor Dylan Jones for an urgent fashion update and teaches a modern sales approach, selling T-shirts at an Ian Brown gig. 4/6 - Rumplestiltskin Retail expert Mary Portas helps professional stylist Becky Eleazu revive the fortunes of her flagging south London boutique. The guru has her work cut out, as she discovers that the shop has been co-run by the owner's partner Max, a personal trainer with the gift of the gab but no fashion experience, and resembles a youth club. Mounting debts also mean that there is no money to buy in new stock. 5/6 - Selkie Retail expert Mary Portas helps to reinvigorate a ladies' fashion boutique in York, where the Hallowe'en-themed window and in-store dolls' houses are scaring off potential clients. The guru arranges for owner Lucy, a former theatre set-designer, to practise her window-dressing skills at Liberty's and takes her to meet the visionary behind an exemplary individual independent fashion store. 6/6 - Homeboy And Juju Revisits Retail guru Mary Portas revisits two fashion boutiques whose failing fortunes she had previously helped to transform. She catches up with Brighton-based Ju-Ju to check whether owners Tim Price and Soly Daneshmand are still drawing the trendy student crowd, and Doncaster shop Homeboy, which she renamed Seen in the face of stiff competition from a new shopping centre.
